I had an lovely stay at Murum Boutique Hotel within the historic Diocletian Palace. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the old city's highlights, and I appreciated the blend of modern comfort amid ancient stone walls. The only downside was the limited number of rooms, which might make booking during peak seasons a bit challenging.
My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a modern touch while retaining the charm of the original stonework. The soundproofing and comfortable beds guaranteed restful nights, which was especially welcome during the heatwave.
The staff, particularly Katja and Ivana, were incredibly accommodating. They arranged transportation, offered helpful local recommendations, and even walked me to the ferry, making my stay stress-free and enjoyable. Their warm demeanor was a highlight!
Murum's location in a quiet square within the palace walls was ideal. I could walk to major attractions and great restaurants, and it only took a short stroll to reach the beach for a refreshing swim.
